Industrial Data Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic Industrial IoT Platform Lead to revolutionize our production processes, enhance operational efficiency, and empower strategic decision-making. Join us in shaping the future of industrial IoT and making a tangible impact on our organization’s success!

Your Responsibilities:

Build IoT Network:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to insert sensors into the IoT network and create tags.
• Add missing industrial data sensors.
• Develop, Build, and Maintain IoT Platform:

Develop use cases and add value with various stakeholders (quality, process, technical, and production departments).

• Analyze and design future-proof architecture with specialized partners. Select and implement appropriate platforms/products.
• Set up the IoT platform and implement proof of concept and visualization with partners.
• Roll out the platform across the Resilux group.
• Continuously improve visualization and building blocks per asset type (e.g., more asset classes, more parameters, more functionality).
• Apply AI and/or machine learning techniques to extract knowledge and insights to support users.

Ensure Integration of IoT:

• Maintain an overview of our products, IT systems, and production equipment.
• Use current and implement new operational systems.
• Ensure interfacing of the IoT platform with Concentrator, RMP, ERP, and other relevant systems.

Reporting and Visualization:

• Report the right data to the right audience to achieve better decision-making.
• Steer and inform the production floor intuitively, alarming when anomalies occur.
• Provide relevant process data for problem-solving and ensuring traceability.

Your Profile:

Technical Qualifications:

• Hands-on knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with time series databases, specifically Aveva Pi system.
• Proficiency in interfacing technologies such as OPC and Kepware (PTC).
• Expertise in reporting tools like Power BI / DAX and Pi system.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques.
